Licensing for Child Care Programs

Register for a FREE
Inquirers Class.  All classes are from 6:30 PM-8:00 pm and are held at the Kent Regional 4C Office.  This class is not required for licensing.  Call 616-451-8281 x241 to register for one of the following dates.
     Thursday February 9, 2012
     Thursday March 8, 2012

 

Beginning July 1, 2011 Kent Regional 4C has an assistance program to support people wanting to open a regulated family child care home.  Call Kathie at 616-451-8281 x241 for more information.  

 

You can also get information about caring for children not related to you. 

The State of Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS) regulates child care. Follow these links to get licensed to care for children, including how to print an application packet, information about fees, and other child care rules and requirements.
