Kent Regional 4C Your Community Child Care Connection.



Kent Regional 4C Your Community Child Care Connection is a non-profit agency established in 1975. 

We are proud to serve our community by helping parents find and choose the best options in child care, child care providers become the best at what they do, employers provide quality child care options, and children receive quality care.
 


For Parents

Kent Regional 4C helps parents find a licensed early care and education facility in an area close to their home or work .

  • Kent Regional 4C does not license, endorse or recommend early care and education homes, centers or preschools

    • Kent Regional 4C sponsors the Child and Adult Care Food Program in 21 counties to help providers offer nutritious meals to children in their care
    • Refer parents looking for child care to providers
    • Training and workshops on business management, child development, literacy, math, and more 
    • Kent Regional 4C helps early care and education providers deliver quality child care programming based on community standards   
    • On-site mentoring/coaching 
    • Annual Early Childhood Conference
    • Resource library on child care


      For Business and Community

      Kent Regional 4C partners with many organizations and businesses to raise the quality of care for children

      Some Partnerships include:

      Corporate contracts and consultations with employers addressing early care and educations issues of their employees

      Business services plan, an on-line child care referral network for businesses to help their employees locate care for their child

      Community early childhood initiatives including First Steps
